Apley Woods

Reedbed habitats

Canada GooseCanada Goose

The reedbeds are the nesting sites of Canada geese, Moorhens, Mallards, Coots and the Great Grested Grebe.

It is hoped that the increasing area of the reedbeds will encourage nesting by reed and sedge warbler and reed bunting.
